VERDI, NV – Tiger  Global  Athletics, in conjunction with the USSSA, is pleased to announce that registration is open for our annual trip to the La Ciaspolada Snowshoe Race in Fondo, Italy. La Ciaspolada is the world’s largest snowshoe race – routinely drawing over 6,000 participants competing over an 8 kilometer course in Italy’s Val di Non region.

Trip overview…

This year’s 8 day / 7 night snowshoeing adventure will be coordinated by Sylvester  Coons, USSSA’s International Snowshoe Liaison, BORAD member and previous Ciaspolada competitor. Commencing in Northern Italy, the tour visits Verona and Venice, before continuing  on  to  Fondo to compete in the 37th edition of La Ciaspolada. Thereafter, the group will head to Innsbruck, Austria, followed by a train ride through the Alps and one of the smallest countries in the world – Liechtenstein, prior to our arrival in Zurich, Switzerland. The package price of $1549 covers daily breakfasts, four dinners, guaranteed race entry,all excursions, tours, transportation, and lodging. It is important to note that participants will need to make their own air travel arrangements. Flights from the United States should arrive in Verona, Italy on January 2nd and depart from Zurich, Switzerland on January 9th. The trip which we are offering is a land-based package only. Airfare is not included.
